Omaha Event: First Friday Family Date Night, 1 December

The museum stays open late on the first Friday of every winter month! Enjoy winter-themed activities like Hot & Cold Science Show and Snowman Bingo, plus meet Santa and friends inside the special exhibit, Santa’s Magic. Hours are 5-8pm; admission is $12 for adults and kids, $11 for seniors, free to members and age 2 and younger. (Family Date night is included with regular museum admission.)

Omaha Event: Ethnic Holiday Festival at the Durham, 1 December

More than 40 cultural organizations proudly display their crafts and traditional dress, while musicians and dancers perform throughout the evening. Hard-to-find ethnic foods and gifts are available for purchase. Hours are 5-9 pm. Admission is $11 for adults, $8 for ages 62 and older, $7 for ages 3-12, free for 2 and under.

Omaha Event: ‘Working on the Railroad’ Exhibit Grand Opening, 1 December

Come out for the grand opening of the Union Pacific Railroad Museum’s new permanent exhibit. Meet UP employees and learn what it takes to work on the railroad. The exhibit features a number of interactive activities. The grand opening runs from 5-7pm.

Omaha Event: Cirque Musica Holiday Presents: BELIEVE, 30 November

BELIEVE is a fun-filled family event, featuring the performers of Cirque Musica, who do amazing things while backed by holiday music performed by a live symphony orchestra. The performance starts at 7:30pm, and tickets start at $33.
