Omaha Event: Railroad Days

The annual Railroad Days celebration is this Saturday and Sunday (July 14-15).

Celebrate our region’s rich railroad heritage and all things train and track at
Railroad Days 2018, July 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fun-filled weekend
gives families the opportunity to explore the exhibits and collections at five of
the area’s railroad-themed attractions, all at one low price. Available for purchase at any participating venue during the event, a $15 family pass (good for 2 adults and their dependent children), includes admission to and bus/trolley transportation between all 5 locations. A $5 pass is also available for one adult with the purchase of a family pass (limit one). A great experience for all ages!

The highlight of the Race Omaha calendar is nearly upon us: the Omaha Triathlon & Multisport Endurance Festival.

And if you haven’t already registered, this week is your last chance to register for

For the first time, the Omaha Triathlon will be held at Prairie Queen Recreation

Jazz on the Green at Midtown Crossing kicks off next week with Gooch & His Las Vegas
Big Band with special guest Christine Hitt!
Las Vegas entertainer Michael “Gooch” Gurciullo brings his swinging big band sound
to his hometown to celebrate the 10th anniversary. The Omaha native and his 17-piece
musical extravaganza cover classic tunes and some of the best songs from the 20th
century in a vintage Vegas-style show. Celebrated vocalist and pianist Christine
Hitt will also join the band on stage.
Arrive early! Enjoy preshow jams from the Cole Palensky Quartet.
