It was a long but very productive morning after many long nights working and just grabbing something to eat for the last few days. It was time for a good meal!
I ended up at one of my favorite restaurants in the Omaha Old Market, Plank Seafood Provisions and tried something new.
The Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos were amazing and so were the chili lime fries. I tried the fries with the harissa aioli instead of ketchup.
Flakey strips of perfectly blackened mahi mahi retained their shape until a few bites while the the taco stayed intact. The pineapple pico de gallo was a great contrast and complement to the fish. The charred jalapeño crema put the dish over the top with a touch of heat and added welcomed creaminess to the dish.
