Learn how the world celebrates this joyful time of year during the Ethnic Holiday Festival! Omaha Christmas Lighting Ceremony today, 24 November at Gene Leahy Mall.
Downtown Omaha’s premier holiday event, the Omaha Holiday Lights Festival, kicks off Thanksgiving evening, 24 November, with the lighting of the Gene Leahy Mall. It continues through the month of December with Sounds of the Season, the ConAgra Foods Ice Skating Rink, the Wells Fargo Family Festival and the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular.
Meet writer-director Kelly Reichardt at this Omaha event for the screening of Reichardt’s movie Certain Women. The event runs from 7 to 10 pm; Reichardt will answer audience questions after the screening. Cost is $4.50-$9.
