This day marks the death of Joel Roberts Poinsett, who introduced the flower to America in the 1800s. The first 100 families to attend will receive a free poinsettia, and docents will be on hand to answer questions about the Mexican flower. Hours are 9am-5pm, and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids from 6-12, and free to kids under 6 and members.
