Please plan to attend the 4th Annual POW/MIA Ceremony on Friday September 15 at 11 am at Memorial Park. This will be a brief 45-minute ceremony to honor our fellow service members so they may never be forgotten. If your organization would like to place a wreath, please let me know, I will have 10 available for use.
Please plan to attend the City of Omaha Parks Veterans Shine On, Thursday November 2 at 6 pm at Memorial Park for a ceremony to honor our veterans. This year we are highlighting our Korean Veterans and the 70th Anniversary of the Korean Armistice. This is a beautiful and festive ceremony that includes singing and lighting of holiday lights and refreshments following.
